Our VisionTo advance existing systems and to develop novel educational methodology, interdisciplinary research, and clinical initiatives all designed to provide better healthcare for adults with chronic disabilities. IFCD will develop and promote collaborative relationships among those involved in the healthcare, education, and research of those health conditions frequently encountered in adults with both childhood-onset and adult-onset chronic health conditions.
Our MissionTo improve the health of adults, who reside in both community and institutional settings, who suffer from disabilities that result from chronic medical disorders (especially chronic brain disorders), while at the same time ensuring they live satisfying and fulfilling lives, with dignity, respect, and free will.

Doo Wop for Disabilities Concert
On November 13th 2010, the Street Corner Five performed to a welcoming audience at the Washington Theatre in a cooperative effort to raise funds for those who suffer with disabilities. We look forward to future fund raising events at the Washington Theatre.

The Brain Health Initiative was created in 2011 to help people attain “Brain health”.

Educational Series
The Blog Talk Radio Series will address current information on the optimal evaluation and management of the primary and secondary health conditions that are frequently encountered in adults with CBD. Primary health conditions that will be discussed include genetic diagnoses, cognitive disability, seizures, behavioral dysfunction, and motor dysfunction.
